Certification

Unified international assessment standards for Japanese Soroban grading (Dan & Kyu) with immutable cryptographic QR verification.

International Japanese Soroban certification standards framework

The GJSDB oversees standardized Japanese Soroban and mental arithmetic proficiency certifications worldwide. Examinations enforce strict timing and accuracy rubrics across Dan and Kyu levels.

Every credential is linked to an immutable central verification registry, allowing instant validation via encrypted QR codes or online token queries.

How to check a certificate

  1. Scan the QR code printed on the certificate with your phone's camera.
  2. If the camera cannot read it, open the verification page and type the code printed under the QR code.
  3. The page shows the student's name, the certificate number and the date of issue — and states plainly when a certificate has been revoked.

Type the code exactly as it is printed on the certificate. Verification is exact: one wrong character is enough to return nothing. If nothing is found, contact the centre that issued the certificate.
